A yeast infection results from an overgrowth of yeast (a type of fungus) anywhere in the body. Candidiasis is by far the most common type of yeast infection. There are more than 20 species ofCandida, the most common beingCandida albicans. These fungi live on all surfaces of our bodies. Under certain conditions, they can become so numerous they cause infections, particularly in warm and moist areas. Examples of such infections are vaginal yeast infections, thrush(infection of tissues of the oral cavity), skin and diaper rash, and nailbed infections.
How to use :
Canesten cream is thinly applied 2-3 times daily to the diseased sites and rubbed in. Continue treatment for 2 weeks after symptoms disappear to avoid recurrence.
Ingredients : 20.0g tube of Canesten cream contain Bis-phenyl-(2-chloro-phenyl)-1-imidazolyl-methane (Clotrimazole) 0.2g, inert cream base (o/w) to 20.0g.
